Big Dick Syndrome

Big Dick Syndrome

Male body shaming is as real as female body shaming. Black men’s bodies also get treated to preconceived social standards that harm their sexual lives.

We’re okay with laughing at men who have smaller dicks and we’ve translated it to mean that they can’t satisfy their sexual partners or they’re not men enough.

Many men suffer this social humiliation and it’s time we stopped it. Stop sharing memes, videos, images, or gossip ridiculing a man’s penis size.

Penis size is as natural as someone’s ear or nose size. The fact that it’s a sexual organ brings all the politics because patriarchy, white imperialism and neo-colonialism has always wanted to control people’s bodies. More so, men controlling women’s and other men’s bodies. Then we all internalized this shit.

A big dick does not automatically translate to great sex, please.

Respect for each other’s bodies is essential in creating healthy communities.

Body shaming sucks!
